MaripHix™ is a high-quality magnesium based powder additive used in the neutralization and desulfurization process of closed loop and hybrid marine exhaust scrubber systems. 

 

When used in place of caustic soda, MaripHix™ provides a safer, non-hazardous source of alkalinity and constant pH control ultimately neutralizing the acidic stream when dissolved.  Magnesium hydroxide and magnesium oxide have proven results in the desulfurization of SOx and NOx  which leads to less sludge generation and ultimately, less additive consumption.
